Positano to Rome
It was quite late in the night, about 1 am, when I received an email for Positano to Rome transfer the next day.
They were looking for how to get to Rome from Positano, making some stops along the way.
I suggested a day-tour of the Amalfi Coast from Positano, ending in Rome, and after few messages, the itinerary changed to Positano > Pompeii (visit of the site) > Rome.
The next morning I went to Positano for the pick-up, and I met Patricia, Giovanna, Giulianna, Daniella, and Alana. Before long I felt I was travelling with friends.
On the way to Pompei, I provided some information about the towns we were driving through.
They wanted to stop to an oil mill to taste the famous Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the Sorrento area. They were very interested as they looked at how the olive oil is produced.
We continued the journey to Pompeii, where they enjoyed about 2 hours of leisure time to see the ruins.
After a visit to the site, our journey continued to Rome, where my new friends dropped-off to reach their hotel.
It was a nice trip, and even Alana (i forgot to tell you that she’s only 3 years old) enjoyed it.
